Our office at Stord is now looking for a Fabrication Installation Lead - Tools & Equipment

What will you be doing?

  • Take role as foreman
  • Be a driving force in HSSE, quality and productivity work
  • Perform work preparation follow up acitivities
  • Lead and be responsible for Warehouse personnel/ Tool kiosk operators within multi discipline
  • Lead, planning, prioritize, manage and follow up operators and resources - based on Aker Solutions and project strategies and goals
  • Lead improvements with our multidiscipline satellite departments and tool kiosks
  • Collaborate to ensure we deliver as promised
  • Continuous Improvement of the department, people and processes.
  • Contribute to developing and digitizing the T&E department
  • Makes decisions based on multi-discipline thinking in accordance with Aker Solutions' project Execution model – PEM

We think you should have:

  • Bachelor’s degree - long and relevant experience may compensate for lack of formal education
  • Proven leadership experience
  • Material technology knowledge
  • Good knowledge in tools, material, general construction equipment and lifting equipment
  • Good communication skills in both oral and written English and Norwegian
  • Basic knowledge in software tools.
  • Basic course in the Norwegian Working Environment Act.
  • Good leadership and collaboration skills with the ability to drive change
  • An outgoing and motivating personality
