Job Description:

We are currently seeking a skilled and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Hotel Receptionist. As the first point of contact for our guests, the receptionist will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, managing guest inquiries, and ensuring smooth operations at the front desk.

Responsibilities:

  • Greet and welcome guests with a warm and friendly demeanor.
  • Assist guests with check-in and check-out procedures, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Answer office phone calls, respond to emails, handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints in a professional and timely manner.
  • Provide accurate information about hotel facilities, services, and local attractions.
  • Manage reservations and room assignments, ensuring the availability of rooms and accurate billing.
  • Coordinate with other hotel departments to fulfill guest requests and ensure guest satisfaction.
  • Maintain a neat and organized front desk area, including the lobby and guest reception area.

Requirements:

  • At least 1 year experience as a hotel receptionist or in a similar customer service role.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and professional attitude.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with attention to detail.
  • Proficient in using hotel management software and computer systems. Training will be provided.
  • Ability to handle stressful situations and resolve conflicts with patience and diplomacy.
  • Knowledge of local attractions, restaurants, and transportation options is a plus.

Working hours: 9:00AM - 4:30PM, Monday to Friday.

Job Types: Full-time, Casual

Salary: $22.00 – $30.00 per hour

  • Teneriffe, QLD 4005: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)

Education:

  • Bachelor Degree (Required)

Experience:

  • Hotel Reception: 1 year (Required)
